Oysters in a Thai Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 oysters
  • 2 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp dark brown soft sugar
  • ¼ red chilli
  • ¼ red onion

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Method

  1.  Remove the seeds from the chilli, finely dice and set it aside.
  2.  Finely dice the red onion and set it aside.
  3.  Mix all of the liquid ingredients together.
  4.  Stir the sugar into the mixture until it is completely dissolved.
  5.  Stir the chilli and red onion into the mixture until it is completely dissolved.
  6.  Serve the sauce in a dish alongside the raw oysters.
