We buy direct from the fishermen, to ensure they get a fair price for their catch, and we carefully select Scottish boats using responsible fishing methods. Our catch comes from the little guys. You can guarantee that your fish and shellfish come from small, independent fishermen and suppliers. Less strain on the fish numbers, more support for local industry.

We buy the species of fish the big supermarkets and suppliers don’t. It has already been caught so why not eat it? Especially if it’s tasty and good for you.
SEASONALITY
Not everything can be eaten all year round without putting a strain on the industry and the species. This applies more to shellfish than other types of seafood. So more often than not, if we aren’t sending it to you, it’s because it isn’t in season.
